The Oulessebougou Alliance will be holding their Annual Dinner Auction on Saturday, May 12th in Salt Lake City. Funds raised through the Auction will enable the Alliance to continue its education, healthcare and economic development projects in 25 rural villages in Mali. The Alliance works cooperatively with villagers to: dig and maintain drinking wells, immunize women and children, provide mosquito netting to prevent malaria, train village health workers and midwives, provide income-generating loans, construct elementary schools and train teachers, provide text books and school supplies.

We’ve donated one of our Silk Sari Eye Pillows for auction, and we’re very proud to be a small part of this year’s event. Barefoot Yoga wishes the Oulessebougou Alliance the best of luck with their event and congratulates them on their successes and their great works!
